Portfolio: Clean & organic Squarespace website for a recovery clinic
The problem
Mahalath was in need of a Squarespace website in a modern minimalist style for her business, Mbode Recovery. She had tried to tried to create one previously, but felt it didn’t look professional enough to be taken seriously against her competitors.
She’d already grown a large audience on Facebook, and needed a place to direct them so that she could make sales. She’s offering in-person services, digital products, consulting, and affiliate products that all support with post-surgery recovery.
Mahalath already had an awesome logo designed for her business, so I needed to expand on that and create a fully-fleshed-out design scheme that could be used across the whole website. We went over her goals for how the website should feel: spa-like, relaxing, an escape, and a bit of luxury.
Here’s how we brought it all together!
The solution
We landed on a fairly peaceful color scheme, but instead of using real greens found it nature, we modernized the design by choosing a blue-green. Then we decided on a bright accent color that would help our calls-to-action stand out on the page. When selecting stock photos, it was really important that they fit within the color palette and also evoked relaxation & body empowerment.
Once it came to building the site itself, we made sure each page was set up to convert, since she has a wide variety of offers to fit her customers’ different needs. Lastly, we incorporated a booking system so that Mahalath could make appointment reservations and sell consulting sessions right on her site.
My favorite part about this design? All the little custom touches that make this business feel unique, special, & expensive.
