About Elite Institute

A virtual educational business for performance and personal growth.

The Elite Institute combines an academic, psychological, and military approach to provide a wide variety of coaching to both kids and adults. Pretty neat!

CEO Arthur has been a University professor, a certified coach, a pro fighter, and an advisor to the military!? This mixed bag of experience has shown him just how much growth is needed among us, and has shaped his gifts for supporting people where they most need it.

The Requests

A fully operational sales and booking website for private coaching sessions.

Like so many of my clients when they come to me, all Arthur had was a logo and a dream. Haha.

He wanted a place to explain and sell the many different services he offers, as well as the ability to schedule sessions and take payments right on the site.

We looked at some websites he admired and talked through his style preference: bold, modern, sleek.

Once I received all his copy, it was time to get to work!

The Design

A sleek balance between modern and traditional.

I knew we were going to go with an all-grayscale color palette, so I started with the Corrigan template in Squarespace (that’s an affiliate link, thank you very much!). I also loved how the heading font perfectly complimented the trusted academic feel of Elite Institute logo.

I added in a taupe shade for a more dimensional color scheme, and then decided on a slim sans serif body font for some masculine contrast.

Using Arthur's written content, I strategically structured each page to feel solid but engaging.

To fill out the design, I rounded up a full gallery of high-quality stock images (all black-and-white, of course) using Pexels.com and Unsplash.com. Every image I selected either evoked feelings of school, business, or living a full life - just to keep everything on brand. This is one of my favorite activities to do for clients! I highly highly recommend those websites btw :)

Lastly, we utilized SQSP's new animation effects to enhance the modern ambience even more.

And that finished off the brand new Elite Institute website! What do you think??

I was so glad that Arthur loved the process and his new site! Here's what he said:

"Emily was amazing! She communicates very efficiently and is very knowledgeable about every facet of design & content. I now have the website I always wanted to use for my business!"

Welllll I'm ecstatic with that result 😃
